I'm applying for the JJC nursing program this February and I'm wondering if anyone else is as stressed as I am? I didnt ask many questions at the meeting with my advisor (we basically went over prereqs, grades, and general program info) so does anyone know how the whole process works? I really need the night program and was told that I could potentially get bumped to the next semester if it fills up with applicants that received a higher TEAS score and higher GPA. I'd appreciate any info.
Hello everyone! I believe qualification emails should have started to go out, in the email it says that the official notifications should be sent out in mid April!
Hello fellow future nurses! I also applied for JJC Fall 2018 Nursing program, like Emmylouwho614 said 96 slots, 24 night students. Anyone score Teas 76+? I scored 72.7, transcript rounded up to 73, have a few prerequisites done. from other message boards about JJC nursing program it looks like you get a qualifier email, then like a month later an acceptance letter in snail mail. also found youtube JJC questions and answers video that's a little helpful... the Dean of nursing said "we look at your teas score and your science teas score (@4:30)... so idk if that's the major piece of the Teas that they don't really go into.

Thanks for letting us know about the qualification letters going out! I stopped checking my email a couple days prior...it was driving me crazy not getting anything! I would've never known it was there!
Has anyone called or emailed about when exactly they expect to send out acceptance emails? I know the qualification email said April, but that seems a little crazy. I know in the past they have told people when they are thinking, but I didn't want to call if someone else already did!

I think I'm more scared now that I know how many people qualified. 240!?!? That's crazy! But I guess it's to be expected! Mid-April?? I hope it's sooner than that! Hold on to hope!

I read that students who applied last semester found out 7 weeks after the application period ended.. if that's the case we still have another month of waiting😩 This is killing me!! I asked how many applicants there are this time around, they weren't able to tell me. Best of luck to allâ¤ï¸
