Hello,

I'm applying for the JJC nursing program this February and I'm wondering if anyone else is as stressed as I am? I didnt ask many questions at the meeting with my advisor (we basically went over prereqs, grades, and general program info) so does anyone know how the whole process works? I really need the night program and was told that I could potentially get bumped to the next semester if it fills up with applicants that received a higher TEAS score and higher GPA. I'd appreciate any info.

Hey everyone! Ok, so I called yesterday and this is what information they were willing to give out (not much, as she said she can't say anything officially).... 1. If you have a guaranteed TEAS score, so 76 or above and received a qualified email, then there is your answer. You won't get an email until everyone else. 2. They are working on scoring everyone now and from what she made it sound like are over half way done 3. Once they are scored they have to be reviewed. She of course repeated the early to mid April comment from the letter. So who knows! Fingers crossed it's much sooner than that!

I had a phone meeting with an adviser yesterday. I did get over the 76 for the TEAS but I still won't be at ease until I get that email. She didnt tell me much, but kinda reiterated shes never had a semester where everyone got the automatic acceptance and they had to turn people away that got over that score. HOWEVER now that I see that 240 people are qualified, 90 seems like it could go by quickly. Stay strong everyone.

I feel the same way!! I got over the 76 mark as well, however my brain is filled with "what if" scenarios! I wish they would just sent out the emails already!

Hey everyone!

I just called to see if I was able to obtain a status, and they let me know that it would probably be mid-April. That the applications have been reviewed and are being ranked now!

Has anyone tried calling today to see about getting any additional information? I feel like each day is slower than the next with this wait!

This wait is insane! I have not callled recently, but a few people have and they keep referring everyone back to the email, so mid April. I don't how that could possibly be though considering we got the qualified emails earlier than they did in past years. I did hear though that the email would not be sent during class hours, so who knows!! Hopefully we all get one soon.

We've made it to April! I tried calling on Friday between 1 and 3 and got the voicemail both times. I used the number listed for the secretary. Is there a specific number we should be calling? I'll try again on monday and let you all know what i hear! Anyway, I wish there weren't so many 'what ifs' to think about! Ttyl :)

Yes!! Happy April!! I just used the number from the qualification email when I called last week. Hang in there everyone!
