I cannot explain the overflow of emotions that I am experiencing today! I found out this morning that I was accepted as an early decision applicant into Johns Hopkins' Second Degree ABSN program starting Fall 2013.
This is just further validation that I'm following the right path.
The fear I had about switching from the path of a lawyer to the path of a nurse has been washed away. I am able! I am capable!..and they saw that! I must've broken down and cried about 3 times today. I am so blessed.
Now I'm progressing into the even more difficult part of the process, finding a way to PAY for it lol. I'm continuously hopeful though. The universe would not allow for such a blessing without a way to achieve it! :-)

Dear CareQueen,
Congrats! This is very exciting news indeed!
I also was accepted into the ABSN Fall 2013 cohort. If you don't mind me asking, are you already living in Marlyand? I have been researching housing options, but do not know very much about the Baltimore area.
I am from California and will be attending the Accepted Students Day in March. I look forward to meeting everyone.
Let's stay in touch.

That's fantastic!!! Congratulations to you as well!!
I don't live in Maryland, I live in Pennsylvania & as far as housing goes, I haven't made much headway in my search. I have some family in Baltimore however, and may end up just staying with them.
I'll be at the Accepted Students day in March as well!!!!! We should definitely meet up¡!

Hello everyone. I am new to this site. I have submitted by application for regular decision for the BSN/MSN family nurse prac program at Hopkins for fall 2013 and I am trying to connect with others who applied to see if people have heard anything or got any calls for interviews. Good luck to you all
