John Tyler - Fall 2016

Published

Who is planning on applying for the JTCC programs for Fall, 2016?

I'm only applying to the hybrid track (thanks to my little kiddos at home, lol)!

Does anyone know if it's advantageous to apply to only one track or two both?

Nope haven't received anything else since the acceptance email... I read the handbook as suggested though and I'm already feeling a little overwhelmed!

I think we all are!! I've moved so much through my life I don't even know how to track down my vaccination records for the physical and such. Anyone else notice that the grading scale changed? Went from 10pt to like 6 or 7, no more getting less than an 80!

Yea I saw that!! It's gonna be tough for sure with that unforgiving grading scale! Yea I am probably going to have to get all of the vaccinations for the same reason!

You should be able to have your titers drawn (measures the level of antibodies). If you've had a pregnancy, a lot of providers test for immunity through titers for a first pregnancy.

Excellent suggestion! I'll have to call my OB and see if I can get that!

Thank you so much kaiwahine for the info on this thread!! I will also be starting on the hybrid track for fall 2016. Can't wait to meet everyone!!

Orientation emails are on their way!

Just got mine too! Can't wait to dig in!

What exactly do you think they mean about the scrub pants? I couldn't find the exact ones because the ones in the catalog aren't an actual brand that I could find. I was thinking about these:

Amazon.com: Cherokee Women's WW Flex Mid-Rise Moderate Flare Drawstring Scrub Pant, Wine, XX-Large: Clothing

I would guess those would work, they look super comfy, all the Meridys site said was elastic waist or drawstring. Maybe ask for clarification at the meeting, I'd love to know before I start buying things too

Right. And it's the same style pockets, not cargo style, etc.

I tried them on today at Uniform City, and they were incredibly comfortable!

What style shirts are you going for (ladies especially)?
