You are not alone in this plight. It is very sad how there are more and more people swayed to take the nursing path thinking that the nursing career is still a very much in demand profession...Only to realize that they are simply contributing to the countless unemployed individuals in our country. Yet, we cannot point fingers and blame nurses for having this little bit of hope of landing a stable job outside of our country with better benefits and decent pay.

It is very unfortunate that choosing a noble profession such as giving care and after spending so much time and money to finish such degree would only lead to nothingness. So right now, many are left in a rat-hole and it will take much more money, time and dedication so that you can find a way to escape and before you can find your way out of darkness.

You were initially asking about Pinoy Care Visa. There is a running thread in relation to this topic and though it seems that they are very popular, it doesn't seem to be on the favorable side. There are countless of predators that are lurking everywhere taking advantage of unsuspecting preys. Nurses are already in a very tight spot yet they are deemed profitable by many firms since nurses will do their best to invest more money just so they can get an edge in the competition. Nurses are easily influenced and tricked into things that promise to jump-start their careers. Notwithstanding the fact that there still lies a couple of trustworthy firms, it would be wise to be extra cautious than fall victim to the many who are not.

This forum has plenty of information. What you can do is browse the international forums and check threads pertaining to US, Canada, UK, Australia, etc... Or simply check out the thread of the country you are planning to go to. You will have a better discernment on the current status of nursing abroad. And you might be able to find a better, more secure route of landing a job in your preferred destination as there are a many who will unselfishly share their experiences to you.

Right now, just be persistent and try to accumulate as much leverage compared to other nurses by getting experience may it be paid or volunteer works. You will also find that if you strive hard enough, you will still be able to find employed hospital work. And then continue to research online and read forums such as this one so that more or less you will see the larger picture when it comes to nursing employment status. Consider where you really want to go and learn the ropes on how to get there by perhaps getting info on requirements. Take also into consideration your financial situation whether you can afford to invest on the path you wish to pursue.

Pray hard. God bless and good luck in all your endeavors. I'm sure you will make it if you persevere hard enough.

Cheers!

i was jobless back there but fortunate that i land a job here.
