Job Hunt Begins!!!

so i already have a rn job post graduation due to already being a lpn and the company i work use lpns and rns.

but... i really want to get my hospital experience, preferably mother and baby. so i have started the job hunt. i haven't seen any openings for ng yet, they are usually posted 3 times a year in and the next time they are due to be posted is in october. in the mean time i have been networking, applying for tech jobs in the hospital and filling out applications on line.

hopefully i can get my foot in the door so by time graduation gets here i will have a job lined up that will give me career advancement. :nurse:

Good Luck to you. I am applying for all jobs in my current hospital system. You may want to go to your local hospital and drop off your resume in that particular department. I call the department so that I address the cover letter to the unit director/manager. I add the managers name to the online cover letter for the department for which I am applying too.

Great plan. I plan to drop off my CL and resume to the NM when I have my share day on LD. Good luck with your search too.
