Jefferson State Community College Summer/Fall 2016 Hopefuls!

Hey guys! I just thought I'd start a thread for this year's JSCC Nursing School hopefuls!

Summer/Fall? Have you submitted yet? Full time/part time?

I turned in my application on the first day of class! Pretty sure I have everything I need finished. The advisor told me I could apply for summer (full time) if I wanted so I did! I applied with 197.7 points and a 3.5 GPA. If I don't get in (kind of iffy on if they will accept the science prereq I have) I'm just going to retake the TEAS test and apply for fall.

Have chatted with several nurses, Littman stethoscope is best.

Do you have an idea how much the Littman stethoscope will cost?

Anywhere from $45(Littmann Lightweight ll S.E.) and up from what I've seen. Just depends on how much you want to spend.

I really hope we do hear about it by father's day. I'm not wanting to wait this whole month to find out. I went ahead and got a pharmacology and dosage calculations book to be studying.

Nursing hopeful here! Does anyone have any info about the Pell City program? Are the instructors helpful? Where are clinicals? How many people apply? 225.5 score here.
