Jefferson FACT 2012

Hello all!

I am so glad I was directed to this discussion forum. I believe it is a great place to share and learn. I am extremely interested in Jefferson's FACT program. I plan to apply for May 2012. I just wanted to reach out to anyone with similar interest and your thoughts on the process. I would like to know who else plans to apply for May 2012 and if your pre-req's have been completed.

Just to share a little about myself, I am completing my BS in Public Health at an online University (3 weeks left!) and have all the pre-req's completed. I am just excited about this next journey.

I also love how Jefferson FACT students automatically are accepted into the MSN program. My goal is to become a Women's Health NP, and Jefferson seems to be the way to go.

I would also love to hear from current students as well.

I found out the same day after my interview via email, I'm still waiting on the snail mail haha. I really thought that they would do all of the interviews then make decisions after the new year. Looking at things on here it seems like my interview was one of the first so that might by why I had such a quick turn around. I think they're going to try and go as fast as they can so I would expect it wouldn't be more than a week after your interview. Some of you are probably wondering about my GPA so I'll share that with you, my undergrad GPA is a 3.6 and my pre-req GPA is a 3.8ish.

When do you all have interviews? What other schools did you apply to if any?

Thank you bippity! Jefferson is the only school I applied to, so I am VERY hopeful! My interview is next week!

Good luck on your interview!! I'm sure it'll go very well and then you will be one step closer to an answer. I'm so happy I got in because Jefferson is my first choice. I knew the program was for me after attending an open house in the spring.

Thanks!!! I just have to keep in kind that it is somewhat laid back so I don't get too worked up.

I felt the same way after the session I went to this summer. This is the only place I want to go to.

Hey Guys,

Did you all just submit the pre-req worksheet and Application through nursingcas? I looked on the sight and apparently there is a jefferson app. I am going to the open house soon, so I am hoping to have all questions answered but any info would help....thanks!

Hey minlat,

Once you submit through nursingCAS and mail your prerequisite form to Jefferson, they will send you the supplemental app to complete.
