I am so glad I was directed to this discussion forum. I believe it is a great place to share and learn. I am extremely interested in Jefferson's FACT program. I plan to apply for May 2012. I just wanted to reach out to anyone with similar interest and your thoughts on the process. I would like to know who else plans to apply for May 2012 and if your pre-req's have been completed.
Just to share a little about myself, I am completing my BS in Public Health at an online University (3 weeks left!) and have all the pre-req's completed. I am just excited about this next journey.
I also love how Jefferson FACT students automatically are accepted into the MSN program. My goal is to become a Women's Health NP, and Jefferson seems to be the way to go.
I would also love to hear from current students as well.
I know I originally started researching in April. But maybe I saw something different because I can't imagine a $14,000 increase. Oh well, we know what it is now. N I'd be glad to pay it! I'm getting nervous. Has anyone been invited for an interview yet??
Well, good luck anyone. Did anyone here submit GRE scores? I took my GRE's and didn't do so well....although I didn't prepare I just took it to "get my feet wet." Scores are not horrible just average....
I applied to 2 other ABSN programs and got into both one here in Philly and one in DC and got into both but after research I think Jeff would be great for me. I will be submitting my app soon and will probably be part of the second round. (Sigh)
krick2aliza I am in the same exact predicament with the chem class for Jeff and miscellaneous classes for Drexel!!! It's so frustrating. I feel like I'm throwing all of this money around just because I'm so uncertain about everything! My tuition is due 12/6 as well. Just out of curiosity, where are you taking your prereqs? Maybe we'll have chem together next semester
Minlat, I thought I responded. Sorry. I didn't take either because my gpa is above a 3.2. I don't know why I didn't say that at first, I was delirious lol.
lmnovak3 I'm at CCP but I was sitting in Chem class the other day thinking I don't think I can sit through another semester of chem and I might just go with Drexel. I was a psych undergrad so I have all the prereqs done after this semester. Still not sure though. I'll see if I get a call for an interview at Jeff.
krick2aliza Ahhh, gotcha... I'm at Montco. I still have a hand-full of prereqs to take after this semester. A&P II is a definite and the others totally depend on where I end up going. Best of luck to you in whichever path you end up taking!
Has anyone heard anything regarding an interview? I remember hearing that they were starting to offer them starting the week of Nov. 7th and now that it is practically December I'm starting to get nervous...
