@Emg2008 I still have to finish O-chem and A&P II. As a matter of fact, classes start today! Finals week is the first week of May. Do you think that's pushing it? My undergrad GPA is a 3.8 and I've done really well in my pre-reqs so far. I'm hoping my grades will help me out even though I have still have some courses to finish up! Thanks for the info :)

I'm still waiting. I called and left a voicemail over a week ago and I've heard nothing. In terms of getting a response, calling wasn't helpful in the least, but I figure it never hurts to get your name out there. Fingers crossed for both of us!

@Fancy84 If I were you, I'd definitely avoid West Philly and North Philly. Center City is definitely going to be your best bet in terms of location and overall environment, but also the most expensive. Some great Center City neighborhoods are Rittenhouse Square, Washington Square, and Old City. If you're looking for something a little more affordable where you'll still feel safe, I'd go with South Philly. I have a number of friends that live in great places in South Philly and pay around $500 a month. The Art Museum area is also a great place to live. If you're willing to live a little outside the city, Manayunk is an awesome, young town that will also be way more budget friendly than Center City. Plus, there's a train that goes right into the city from Manayunk. You definitely won't want to drive in unless you're willing to sit in tons of traffic. I'm not an expert on the city by any means, but I've lived in the Philly 'burbs my whole life and have family in the city, so if anybody has questions, I'll do my best to help!

Thanks, shhr! I've already paid the the initial application fees; however, once TJU reviewed my app they wanted to see my fall semester grades before they made a decision. A had to send another transcript and am under the impression that I have to pay the NursingCAS fee AGAIN. No biggie, I just wasn't sure if anyone had a definite answer.

Is anybody else who had to send in additional coursework from the fall semester waiting forever for NursingCAS to receive their transcript? My school sent it out on the 22nd and they have yet to post anything stating that they've received it. Also, does anyone know if we have to pay yet again to have NursingCAS send the information to Jeff? The website left me under the impression that I would have to pay another fee, which I think is ridiculous! Any input would be much appreciated! :)

krick2aliza Ahhh, gotcha... I'm at Montco. I still have a hand-full of prereqs to take after this semester. A&P II is a definite and the others totally depend on where I end up going. Best of luck to you in whichever path you end up taking!

krick2aliza I am in the same exact predicament with the chem class for Jeff and miscellaneous classes for Drexel!!! It's so frustrating. I feel like I'm throwing all of this money around just because I'm so uncertain about everything! My tuition is due 12/6 as well. Just out of curiosity, where are you taking your prereqs? Maybe we'll have chem together next semester

Thanks, guys! It's definitely a huge relief, but I just want everything to finally be set in stone. All the waiting and uncertainty is a killer for a planner like me! If it comes down to having to choose between Drexel and Jeff, I'd definitely choose Jeff over Drexel for the following reasons: -Starts in May as opposed to September, so I'd finish sooner -Amount of prereqs that I'll have yet to fulfill after this semester is four for Drexel, but only two for Jeff (more of a personal issue, but it's definitely weighing in on my decision) -Automatic acceptance into Jeff's graduate program if accepted into the FACT program (knowing that I wouldn't have to take the GREs or go through the application process all over again would be SUCH a relief!) -Receiving 9 graduate credits while in the FACT program (of course, only a benefit to those who plan on continuing their education post-BSN) With that being said, they're both excellent schools and I'd thrilled to be a student at either. My friend just graduated from Drexel's ACE and absolutely loved it. She loved her professors and said she'd do it all over again if she had to. For me personally, however, Jeff would be a better fit given my long-term goals. With that being said, I think the pros and cons for each will vary for every individual!

Ah, I FINALLY got my confirmation email! It says that mine will be reviewed in the first review period, but that a decision will not be made until AFTER January 1st. This timing is awful! I got into Drexel's ACE Program, but I need to give them my decision by December 31st (which requires a $500 deposit... ugh), not to mention my class schedule next semester will change drastically depending on where I go. I just want to know! This waiting is killing me! Anyway, best of luck to all of you!!! :)

I don't know the exact date, but I applied at the end of August. I'm unsure what my status is on their website... I'm not really sure how to check that. But I received a package in the mail yesterday (Oct. 31st) and the letter was addressed on Oct. 26th. And yep, it's for ACE, not the four-year program!

Hi guys! I just got my acceptance letter today, so be on the lookout! I am SUPER excited and feel so relieved! My stats will probably be very reassuring for some of you. Although my undergrad GPA was a 3.8, my degree was a BA in Advertising and I only have 7 prereqs complete as of right now (I'm taking two right now, two in the spring, and two in the first summer session). @shhr Being that I'm taking prereqs this semester, this is great news. I was beginning to worry that I didn't have enough of my prereqs completed to even be considered for the spring class. Thanks for another reassuring update!

@shhr That is very reassuring! Thanks :) I know a girl in the program now and she said that people started to be accepted as early as the first week of September. Perhaps this is the first year they're including a supplemental app?

Ethics and sociology are two courses that I still have to fulfill, so that's great news. Thanks for your help!
