Jeff State Spring 2015 Hopefuls

Hello all! I am transferring from UAB to Jeff State after two unsuccessful attempts at getting into the nursing program over there! I just spoke to the adviser and will be applying with 224.5 points. I had 2 A's and a B in my pre-reqs, and studied for a month and got an 88.7 on the Teas-V. She said that my application was very competitive, and I find it ironic/surprising that I can be competitive at one program and "not on the radar" so to speak at another! Ha! I guess it goes to show that you should never give up on your dreams -- if one avenue won't work just try a new one!

Anyways, I know it's super early, but I couldn't resist starting this post!! I hope to make some new friends so we can help each other study and be the best we can be! Good luck to all!

Talked to the office at Shelby and the lady told me hopefully we will know at the end of this week or beginning of next week. Crossing my fingers. Good luck everyone

Well I have thrown in the towel. I was really hoping to get an offer from Jeff state since it's right by the house. But I accepted Wallace state and orientation is Nov 4th. So at this point it doesn't matter if I get an acceptance or not. I already have my schedule in hand.
