Jeff State Spring 2015 Hopefuls

Hello all! I am transferring from UAB to Jeff State after two unsuccessful attempts at getting into the nursing program over there! I just spoke to the adviser and will be applying with 224.5 points. I had 2 A's and a B in my pre-reqs, and studied for a month and got an 88.7 on the Teas-V. She said that my application was very competitive, and I find it ironic/surprising that I can be competitive at one program and "not on the radar" so to speak at another! Ha! I guess it goes to show that you should never give up on your dreams -- if one avenue won't work just try a new one!

Anyways, I know it's super early, but I couldn't resist starting this post!! I hope to make some new friends so we can help each other study and be the best we can be! Good luck to all!

No I just talked with them Monday. It looks like it will be next week. The lady in the office just said a week or 2. Not really sure if she knows anything.

Me too! I am super nervous and I have been checking y'alls comments everyday. I spoke with Lynn the advisor yesterday and she said they just now sent our information to the nursing department. I'm going crazy!

Hopefully since they have our information now they will be sending out acceptance letters or phone calls.

Before I talked with the office Monday. I went to the nursing office and asked them first and the advisor told me they don't know anything until the main office sends it up for them to notify. So maybe the beginning of next week. If you receive an acceptance or rejection letter will you please post so we all can be on the look out. Thank you.

I applied with 182 points and have been stalking this post everyday!! Hopefully we will hear something soon! The wait is killing me! Please post if you hear anything!!

Heard nothing so far today is the last day of waiting for me. Tomorrow we have orientation at Wallace so... if I don't hear anything today it's over for Jeff State. Please post if anyone hears anything today. GOD BLESS all of you! Best of luck with your journey.

I just called and (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST NAMES PER TOS) said hopefully notifications should go out later this week. They have not established a cut off yet.

I don't understand why its taking so long when in previous years it only took two weeks. I want to call but I don't want to annoy them or anything. My patience is wearing very thin :no:
