Jeff State Spring 2015 Hopefuls

Hello all! I am transferring from UAB to Jeff State after two unsuccessful attempts at getting into the nursing program over there! I just spoke to the adviser and will be applying with 224.5 points. I had 2 A's and a B in my pre-reqs, and studied for a month and got an 88.7 on the Teas-V. She said that my application was very competitive, and I find it ironic/surprising that I can be competitive at one program and "not on the radar" so to speak at another! Ha! I guess it goes to show that you should never give up on your dreams -- if one avenue won't work just try a new one!

Anyways, I know it's super early, but I couldn't resist starting this post!! I hope to make some new friends so we can help each other study and be the best we can be! Good luck to all!

Well i messed up big time i didn't turn in my high school transcript so that knocked my points down to 172 which is apparently right below the cut off. I couldn't be more depressed at the moment.

Wow you won't believe this I called the nursing advisor and she told me my GPA was below the 2.5 cut off. How is that even possible when I was accepted at two other schools with same gpa. Lol like I said God knows what's best.

There should be no cutoff when students are applying. I mean, why even allow them to apply if they are under the supposive cutoff?????
