Hello all! I am transferring from UAB to Jeff State after two unsuccessful attempts at getting into the nursing program over there! I just spoke to the adviser and will be applying with 224.5 points. I had 2 A's and a B in my pre-reqs, and studied for a month and got an 88.7 on the Teas-V. She said that my application was very competitive, and I find it ironic/surprising that I can be competitive at one program and "not on the radar" so to speak at another! Ha! I guess it goes to show that you should never give up on your dreams -- if one avenue won't work just try a new one!
Anyways, I know it's super early, but I couldn't resist starting this post!! I hope to make some new friends so we can help each other study and be the best we can be! Good luck to all!
Well I assume I didn't get in cause I didn't get an email. Oh well no worries lol. I had a 2.8 GPA and I had 181 points don't get it. But it's God's will he put me where he wanted me to be. Good luck to all who were excepted we have a great journey before us in nursing school. Keep the faith and we will all make it to the end.
I believe they will probably send out more emails. Jeff state waited to long for me anyway. So my school was chosen before they sent out emails. I've already gone to orientation and brought uniforms and supplies. That's why I say it was God's choice for me. Everything had worked out for the better when I left it in his hands. Don't be discouraged because delayed doesn't mean denied. I've been trying to get in nursing school since 2004. It took me 10 years to get in and it's a good drive away. But he knows I have the ability to it and finish it. So keep your head up there were allot of people who were at Wallace that were waiting on Jeff state to reply. So I'm sure some ships are going to open up.

If acceptance emails go out and some have already rejected them due to choosing another shook over Jeff State, do they go to the next person in line?? Should say school, not shook. Lol
