Jeff State Fall 2010 hopefuls...

I will go ahead and start this post for people applying to Jeff State Nursing Program Fall 2010. I know there are people out there with questions...I know I have a ton myself...I guess we can start with the amounts of points people are applying with with what classes??This should give us an idea of maybe where the cutoff will be...it was like 186 for Summer 2010!

What is the orientation??? I'm guessing that is for those accepted to nursing school?

Yea I think it just basically goes over the program and stuff. Also, ruthie I was going to ask you what points you applied with if you didn't mind?But I would understand if you didn't want to say.

I don't mind saying...I applied for the part-time nights/weekends & had 190.

I may have told you Ruthie, but I also applied for the night/weekend program with 190 points!! Maybe we will both get in! I am glad tomorrow is Friday, we can roll into next week and we will be that much closer to getting letters. I had not heard orientation was in July. Heck, I don't even know when classes begin this fall. I have NO clue and haven't bothered to check. I'm just in a holding pattern, waiting on that letter.

Oh cool! Hope we both get in! :) What classes did you take in the Spring? Wondering if I may know you. There were quite a few people in my classes also applying for part time program. :)

I took micro this spring. It was basically the last class I needed other than nursnig classes. I do need development psych but I'm going to take it online, hopefully while I'm in the program.....

Ok, I don't guess we had any classes together then. I took Growth & Dev this past semester & BIO 201. :)

Ah. I took A&P I last spring and II last fall....then micro this spring. Needless to say I'm sick of science classes. LOL

Anyone have the latest word on the cutoff, or whether acceptance letters have been sent? We're finally at week 6 now! :)

I got an email from the Nursing Advisor at the Shelby campus (in response to my email last week) & all she said was that I will get a letter in July. No specifics other than that. :uhoh3:

Looks like there are a lot of part time people applying!...maybe you will all get in!...I was at Shelby campus today for my AP 2 class and the office was covered up with people asking about their apps...It was hilarious...I can't say I didn't want to go join in on the riot though...haha...I spoke with an advisor at the Shelby campus and she said 2 weeks...I haven't a clue what could take this long...week 6 ends on Wednesday...

You know what frustrates me....the fact that UAB sent out their letters TWO WEEKS ago!! This is a 4 year school....they have to have more applicants yet they manage to get their letters out quicker than Jeff State......
