How is everyone doing? For those who are already licensed....how did you study for NCLEX

Hi pretty, I just got into my nclex study guides and went over med charts I made in school and labs. Know labs well and what happens to body if abnormal. I would make sure to go over disease processes to include some pedi.

Okay great. Is it not worth doing a Kaplan review or type of class similar? I have hurst review on my computer...

I have taken Hurst review and it was not helpful at all in my opinion. I have heard Kaplan is great but the ones that took it said it did not help them with the exam. I guess what I should say is each test is so very different and it depends on that alone. Of coyrse I have no clue what was on anyone elses exams and was only told the review coyrses didnt help them for the exams. I just went over the basics and went over what I felt was testable and was hit on hard in school. I hope this helps but as I mentioned each exam is different from the next so a review may be great for you.

I have every review book and cd rom known to man...but I think I will just use one. Does sw do nclex reimbursement

Hey prettyladie... I got accepted for an ER internship as well! Have you heard anything about what we will be doing beyond the first day with HR?? I'm so freaking excited, I can't wait for the 16th!!

Nope not yet! Do you know what the we go on the 16th and where we meet. Have you gone to HR yet and gotten your badge made and turned in all the papers. Where are you coming from. Do you know how many they accept. We should definitely keep in touch. So glad someone else is on board. There is another person but they really don't respond on here when I ask them questions or try to communicate lol oh well. When did you interview

Now see, this is what bugs me about these threads!!...everybody gets an awesome internship and then abandons the thread and never posts again, arrrgggghhhh!...I just got a med/surg internship at SW and orientation starts 3/12!

Can anybody update me with how it's going for them, now that you've been through the internship and how it's going on your floor?
