January 2018 Nclex

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi everyone! Any January 2018 test takers? I took mine yesterday from 2pm-7pm. I'm pretty sure I bombed. I did not feel confident, had a headache halfway through, and walked out of there feeling defeated. It was the longest 5 hours of my life and I didn't mentally prepare for it enough. I got home, did the PVT 2 hours afer, got the good pop-up. Tried again this morning, still the good pop-up. But i fear that I wouldn't pass the BON's quality check. The waiting game is making me anxious, so I'm hoping to just let it all out and keep myself distracted.

Cheers to everyone who passed! And for test takers, I couldn't emphasize it enough: go in there for a 260-item exam (I took this little tidbit for granted and ended up with a headache). Good luck!

Imagine this: 32 years ago we sat for 2 days to take the board exam. It was a pencil and paper test where you colored in the dots to the correct answers!!! Just think what the outcome would be if one of the dots was skipped and all the rest of your answers could be wrong because of this. Don't stress, it's just a test like all the others you have taken to get this far. Relax, read the questions slowly and carefully. You can do it and you can pass!!!

Hi Everyone!

I just took my NCLEX RN and passed with 98 questions in 2 hours. I had 21 SATA and 1 math question. I believe the test went really well. To prepare, I used U World and loved it. I did all of the questions, and whenever I got questions incorrect, I would just do them all again the next day. I studied from the Saunders book as well, and read the entire book from cover to cover, and did the questions inside. I felt really prepared for the exam, and am extremely thankful that I passed.

Hey there, I felt almost the same.

I pretty much had a breakdown in my car and just did not leave the parking lot till midnight.

I went up to 230 and it cut me off. I searched the DCA for my name and checked breeze yet found nothing. I handled it really bad. I did the PVT too. I noticed most people who passed recieved their information within 2 weeks or they found their name in the DCA. I am from california btw.

If you passed awesome and if not keep your head up. Yes distract yourself but also prepare yourself.

Hi guys!

I scheduled my NCLEXRN for July. I was using Uworld for almost 3 months. my overall average is 74% with 98th Percentile Rank.. however I only did one self assessment test and I scored 66% very-high chance of passing.... now I'm doing the PDA Lacharity (Prioritization, Delegation, Assignment) I only did 5 chapters.. currently I am scoring in the 70's. I just wanna do Part 2 (chapters, PDA) and escape the Part 3 ( case study, PDA). I'm tired of study and doing questions so I was thinking if I can reschedule it, I mean take it sooner like this month instead of July. but some how when I try to change my date Im starting to freak out and panic . what do you guys think.. any advice.. thank you all and have a good luck of your studies.

Hi,

I just took it this past week. It stopped at 75. I passed. Sounds like you are ready. I pretty much did the same prep as you except with Hurst online too.

Hi everyone, Im new to this. I just took my NCLEX on 7/26 at 1400. I had 181 questions, tons of SATA, EKG questions and alot of priority questions. I dont want to do the PVT trick. This is my 7th time trying!

Congratulations! I recently failed my nclex and I would love to know your study plan each day? I am feeling very discouraged but I know that I can pass. I am going to do the Mark Klimek's review, uworld and use Lacharity

I am curious, has anyone ever gotten another pop up besides the " good pop up " and still passed?

Like an error message saying " wrong security code, invalid expiration date etc ".. basically the bad pop up..

I have lost hope now that I've gone through endless forums and seeing that the PVT is quite accurate.

I tested on November 19, 2018 for the NCLEX PN..had 1 math question, around 20+ SATA, endless priority questions, 1 re-order question and 1 exhibit that I knew I got wrong lol..or so I believe..and I stopped at 148..Both of my previous attempts on the NCLEX stopped at 85 so when I went past 85, I was happy and nervous at the same time..and it has been about 12 days and nothing..

Although this morning I saw that the board is processing results from November 19th..so I am praying I passed..
