January NCLEX Study Group!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi Friends!

I am taking the NCLEX in January. I will graduate from my accelerated BSN program in mid-December, just before Christmas. This is an 11.5 month ABSN program and is make-your-head-spin-fast!

I am still deciding whether I will take the Hurst Review or the Kaplan Review, but I do have the Saunders 4th Edition NCLEX-RN Comprehensive Review book. It is huge! Honestly, I feel overwhelmed and feel like I do not know where to begin. I will just begin at the beginning! Care to join me on this wild ride?!?! We can encourage one another along the way!:typing

As part of my study program, I want to incorporate exercising at least 20 minutes a day and eating healthier snacks. Grabbing an apple and cheese instead of pepsi and cheetos!:pumpiron:

Let's do this thing!!!!

:yelclap:

Congratulations! :yeah:

Did you study especially for SATA questions? Those are my weakness and when I do them on Saunders and NCLEX 3500 I am barely breaking 60%. I'm taking NCLEX on Thursday and I'm afraid my whole exam is going to be SATA.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

how'd it go?

yep I used kaplan and I really liked exam cram too. I also used saunders (ehhh) and ncelx 3500

thanks so much everyone and good luck to you

the exam really wasnt so bad after all :)

*wine it feels so unreal...

thanking all those who've supported me on this long journey.. :bowingpur i couldnt have done it without all the love & positive energy!

Congrats to all who have taken the NCLEX and passed. I am scheduled for Jan28. I hope I can add my name to the list. I got 63 on my Kaplan Qtrainer #6 and 64 on #7. I hope this means something positive. I am really getting burnt out on studying to hard and doing questions.

I'm taking mine on Feb 4th...I'm going to take my Question Trainers 6+7 sometime this week...I've done about 3250 prac. questions from Saunders + Kaplan + Exam Cram. I know what you mean when you say you're getting burnt out on studying! =\

i did kaplan and it was awesome! i did 150 questions a day after my class was over (my class ended 4 wks prior to testing) and the trainers, i did question trainer 6 the sunday before my exam, then question trainer 7 the monday before my exam, took tuesday off completely just chilled and did whatever i felt like doing, then tested on wednesday.

good luck you are going to do great!! :p
