OldDude, My question regarding the turtle is this: Did you a.) take it back to the side of the road BEHIND it? [like from whence it came], or b.) the side of the road it was facing, ostensibly where it was going?

You always need to takethe turtle to the side of the road it was heading for! They may not be hugely BRIGHT in the brains dept, but they do have a sense of direction. And, too, maybe it was just warming itself; or maybe ...waiting for the bus to Hollywood? Bright city lights and the promise of Ninja-hood?
