Thank you Davey Do for accepting me into your clinic. I'll remind you it was Farawyn's fault. I don't have to say, but I want to say, you have offered a very therapeutic forum of enlightenment and humor and entertainment. It makes me laugh and uncoils my spring every time I read and look at your talent. You're definitely a weirdo I can relate to. I hope Santa was nice to you and wish you a happy new year. I'm still waiting to hear the status of the truck, by the way. Merry Christmas
Thank you for you Heart-Warming Post, OldDude!

Yes, that Highly Skilled Mythical Being who Flies across the Winter Skies bringing Presents to all the Girls and Guys was Very Good to me!
But how to Talk About a Hobby and an Inanimate Object while Staying on Topic? Lessee...
I Love my '51 Chevy Pickup, the Blue Funk and Truly Enjoy Talking About it. But can I Truly Love a Thing? Love can be defined as a Feeling Toward Somebody or Something and Feelings are the Result of Electrical-Chemical Processes in our Brains.
Now, I also Love my Little Sister Cat and the Two Loves, of course, are not the same. My Love for Cat is for a Person with Past and Current Connection of Emotional Feelings, while my Love for the Blue Funk is the Result of Firings from the Amygdala in Association with Past Memories of her and another Person I Loved, my Dad. The Blue Funk is the Association of Memories, a Symbol or Representation if you will, of my Feelings I Associate with both Cat and my Deceased Dad.
Utilizing this Premise, albeit Oversimplified, we can Contend that it is not the Objects we Love, but the Associated Feelings with a Loved One, Stimulated by Presence or Memories.
Anyway, here are some Pics of Cat and me. The First was taken in the Autumn of 2014, while the Next was Taken a Little over 50 years earlier, in the Spring of 1964.
Sigmund Freud Believed the Personality's Attributes are Developed by the Age of Seven. William Wright, in his book Born That Way, gives Evidence that the Personality is the Result of a Genetically Predisposed Template.
In Essence, who we were as Children is who we are as Adults. The Personality, in most cases, merely Matures.
Both Theories are Indicative in these Two Random Pics taken 50 years apart. Note the Similarities: Early 50's Chevy Pickup, Attire of Shorts, T-shirt, big Shoes, Foot at an Awkward Angle...
