Ivytech 2015 Fall Admission

Published

Hi!

I didn't see a thread for this and wanted to start something up. I have read up on discussions online, talked to people I know, and watched some youtube videos to see how other are doing. I just basically want to know where everyone is at in the admission process. What are your teas scores? Have you applied? Which program ASN or LPN?

Thanks and good luck!

Alright folks! Finals grades have been posted for spring and now we wait.......patiently:unsure: Don't know about you guys, but I'm going nuts waiting:wacky:!!!

Impatiently waiting! Total points 118. Applying to Sellersburg ASN and PN programs. Fingers crossed!!!

My final grades haven't been posted yet! What the heck!?

Have you found out when orientation will be yet? I applied to Lawrence also and am wondering the same thing! I want to take a vacation this summer before all the fun begins :)

Hi I applied for ivy tech kokomo and Indianapolis for the ASN and ivy tech Lafayette for the PN for spring semester and got into all 3 of them with a score of 134. I got an 89 on my TEAS and an A in English and a B in both Psych and A+P 101 which gives me that score and I was accepted into all 3 of them. The only reason why I didn't go to any of them was because I just want to get my ASN done and I didn't want to drive out to indi or kokomo for my classes. I applied for the fall semester for Lafayette and took the extracurricular science courses I needed during the program, but even after getting accepted the first time I'm still nervous about getting in for the fall.

Do any of you know if it's harder to get in for the fall start ASN than the spring start or how many applied to the Lafayette Ivy Tech?

She doesn't as I got in Spring semester and I applied to 3 Ivy Tech campuses. I also applied for the Lafayette ASN program but I heard someone who was applying for the ASN and the phlebotomy program who talked to their phlebotomy advisor and they said that there were only a small amount of people who applied for the Lafayette program for this fall. That said I don't know how many a small amount is.

Good luck, everyone! I know the wait can be frustrating, but when you finally receive that letter of acceptance, I promise it's worth the wait.

Have any of you guys started looking at stethoscopes yet?! If so, what are planning to get? I'm looking at a Littman lighweight 2. Any thoughts on the best ones to get?

Hi guys,

Im worried. I retook aphy101 just this past spring and got an A, but I'm worried they will see my B I got the last time I tool that course instead of my A. Does anybody know if I was suppose to indicate anywhere on the application that I retook the class?

Thanks,

Melissa

They will only take your most recent score. No worries!

I read the old posts from Fall 2014 and a few people got their letters on May 16 from Columbus. I applied to Columbus and Indy. Columbus is a 35 minute drive and Indy is about a 20 minute drive for me. Indy would be ideal but with a 137.7, I will drive the extra 15 minutes.. Hope they come soon. Best wishes to all of you. :)

Jessica2121,

I read the same thing in an older post too! Very exciting! I didn't apply to Columbus, only Lawrence, but I bet you'll get into both! I've heard that Columbus is easier to get into and a 137 is a great score for Larewnce from what I've been told. I only have 132 points and my advisor seemed to think I've got a great shot! Good luck!
