Hi!
I didn't see a thread for this and wanted to start something up. I have read up on discussions online, talked to people I know, and watched some youtube videos to see how other are doing. I just basically want to know where everyone is at in the admission process. What are your teas scores? Have you applied? Which program ASN or LPN?
Thanks and good luck!

Hi everyone! I have all A's and 80 on the TEAS, and I only applied ANS at Lawrence campus. I am so nervous and excited! Anyone knows if
(hopefully) I get in the nursing program, when will be the orientation??? Because I'm not going to take summer classes, and I won't be at Indiana for a while, so just want get prepared...Good luck everyone!!
Hello everyone,
I applied for the RN program at Indy, Anderson, Columbus Terre Haute. I was advised to also apply for the PN program in Indy, because I didn't do too well on my TEAS test. I got a 72, and All A's on the pre-requisites. I'm not sure what my combined over all score is, but I do know that this wait is literally HORRIBLE. But good luck to everyone!!
Hi Jillianelise92,
Your score is somewhere near 132/160...
The traditional ASN application score is set to a maximum of 160 points and here's how it breaks down:
APHY 101 A=30 pts.
PSYC 101 A=15 pts.
ENGL 111 A=15 pts.
60 points maximum which you achieved. Nice work!
Then add your TEAS Score which is a maximum of 100 points. You earned 72 points out of 100. So, roughly, you scored 60+72= 132/160.
I say roughly because you might have noticed on page 3 of the traditional ASN application that your TEAS score is broken down by section (Reading, Math, Science & English). Take your scores from each of these sections on your TEAS score sheet(Say Reading 83.1%, Math 70.3%, Science 65.7%, English ?%) and multiply them by the corresponding multipliers below to determine your exact points for each section.
Reading .30
Math .20
Science .30
English .20
Then add these figures to your 60 points. If you rocked the more heavily weighted Reading and Science, you probably scored better than 132/160.
Good luck!
I applied to Gary/Valpo and South Bend, I have a 146/160. The wait is killing me too!! I just finished finals this week, and now I just wait for my letters. Does anyone know how they decide between the Gary/Valpo campus if you are accepted? I've heard it's based on where you live, but I live pretty much equal distance from both campuses. Any idea how many people actually applied to these campuses?
