Ivy Tech Thread

I beefed up my summer course load and plan to take MAT 118, COM 102, and IVY 104, all online. Anyone else taking these?

Yes, we need to find his son, Fabio........

:chuckle

Hope you guys are doing well! We have our first ANP exam next week over tissues and I actually think I am doing well with them...I am going to steal the printers at work and copy some to make into flashcards.

Anyway, everytime I see the lab coats at Lawrence I think of you!

In the meantime... I got a 90% on my first fundamentals exam! :yeah:

Congratulations Stacy:up:

I went tech to the info session at Valpo and they stated that the letters from them would not be sent until October 10th or 11th instead of Sept. 30th.

:urgycld:

I know it sucks but at least they gave us a heads up. I will be patiently waiting a response from Gary or Valpo. I'm hoping for Gary, though. Thanks to all of you guys for keeping me sane during the wait. Valpo also said that anyone that does not get accepted for Spring will have to take Math 118, so I am really hoping to get accepted for Spring because I despise Math. Good luck to all of us!!!!:dncgbby:

nursenessa,

i despise math too:chuckle i am in 118 and it's really not too bad. however, if i don't get accepted, i am attending a different school which has 111 as a requirement. i will d i e if i have to take both! not to mention the other school requires a couple classes that i don't have to take at ivy tech, and doesn't require some that i have already taken.

if i have to switch schools, i think i will have more credits than any person on earth with an associates degree!

i suppose we won't find out if we get in, until we find out if we got in. the waiting is excruciating.............

17 days until the 30th!

Can I ask what other schools can you get your associates degree for Nursing? It seems l like you have to go to a university for a four year. I live in Northwest Indiana, does anyone know any other options, just in case. I am aware of the Illinois schools. Thanks in advance.

nursenessa,

i am not aware of other associated degree programs offered. ivy tech has other locations in nw in, but i am not sure which ones offer the rn degree.

16 days.............

oh, we can hope! that would be awesome if the letter showed up a couple of days early. the acceptance letter, that is! so, until that time, i suppose that i should start studying for my first advanced physio test a week from tues.
