I know we still have some time but I imagine a majority of us are taking or have taken the TEAS and are getting ready to get ready for the Spring 2020 application period !! Just thought I could give us a spot to chat, I know I have used the older threads from other years to help me prepare as well!
I take my TEAS (first time) Monday! What is everyone else up to?!

I am extremely happy I found this thread that you started! It was really nice to be able to talk with someone about all this! I wish you the best of luck!
Same with you girl! Thanks for chatting! It's nice to not be in it alone, you'll have to keep me updated when the time is closer!

I sure will! Let me know how your advanced physiology class goes! I might attempt to take it along with nursing classes, now that I know it is needed for a BSN. ?
Hey there! I just saw this thread.
I think i am on the facebook group too. I have been combing through the files and posts trying to find other people that went or are applying to Anderson. There are not a lot of people that used Anderson as their first choice, so its hard to get an idea of what our scores will need to be. You have any idea??
I got all A's on pre reqs and 77.3 on teas. Puts me at 137.3. I am still debating on whether or not I will retake the Teas before applying in July.
Wish you two the best!

I definitely will! I promised my sister in law I would let her know too, she started with the LPN program then did the ASN and was thinking about doing the BSN now although she doesnt HAVE to anymore (initially she was supposed to for the job she has but they changed it) but shes the one who suggested to me to get it over with now because she wishes she had!

Omg you have a fantastic score!! If you can or want to, join the Facebook group I mentioned before and once you get in, you can scroll through the files and see past acceptance scores at different campuses! Although they do vary as we all know!! I did the same trying to find fort Wayne scores for So long!!
But I bet your score will be enough, I would say it would be good enough for fall even!!
*** just saw you said you're in the group lol sorry! I got over excited about your score for you ?

Haha! Thanks!!
My adviser hinted to me that it was a good score but she couldnt come out and tell me. I just keep second guessing myself.
When do you apply for your nursing program?

Hi clintonjohnson13! I'm applying in Anderson too this spring! I completely understand the second guessing "stuff!" I've drove myself crazy ever since I took the TEAS test. I got an 88 on my first TEAS test and I really do not want to pay to take it over again. Recently, an advisor told me spring semesters are much easier to get into than fall semesters. I keep holding onto that thought, hoping she is correct. Also, I personally know someone who got into spring ASN two years ago with a total of 132 points. She got in first round, with her first choice in Anderson.

Yeah, mine wouldnt really say either way. She said I did really well on the TEAS but that she couldn't say until the applications started coming in.
I will also be applying in July, I plan to as soon as I can just to get it over with, hurry up and wait, if you will ?
If I dont make it this round I will retake Psychology for an A (I was REALLY close last time but made the mistake of taking it WITH aphy 101 so almost all of my focus went towards aphy and not psych) and the probably retake the TEAS then too. It's hard because I'm ready to start but time is also on my side.

Whoa! An 88 is amazing on the Teas!! What were your grades for the other pre reqs that you are having transferred?
Yeah my adviser kept hinting that I would be good, but then I see some people getting in the 140's and I start to panic! lol.

yes taking aphy 101 and psych at the same time is a lot!
I took aphy 101, psych 101, math 123, eng 111, and the student success in healthcare last semester. All at the same time. It was brutal! Looking back I have no idea how I was able to get A's in everything. It was non stop studying! Hopefully everything goes well and all 3 of us will be starting in January!
And yeah, the hurry up and wait thing. I'm the same way. I can't wait until I can put my application in. When I realized how far out the deadline was i couldn't believe it! I think its September 1'st. 2 months of stressing! lol

I have A's in my classes, but still waiting for them to add one of my grades to my transcript. It's showing as a transfer credit without a grade currently on my anatomy & physiology, so I'm hoping that will get corrected. My score is 118 without that grade.
