Ivy Tech Spring 2011 Applicants

Hey, just seeing who's on here that will be applying with me. I'm applying to Muncie, Kokomo, and Ft. Wayne. I feel like this is all I think about already. I'm retaking a couple of pre reqs this summer to improve my score. I've already taken the teas but will probably retake it as I only received an 83. I've also attended all the nursing info sessions. What is everybody else doing to prepare? I'm so paranoid about forgetting something! I'm looking forward to talking with people in the same boat. Or if anyone who has already applied wants to share advice, I'd gladly listen!

I will not be working while going to nursing school. I plan to live on financial aid and loans, although, I hope I can avoid taking loans out. On another note I have called Gary about 3 times and all I get is their machine!!! LOL!! I just want to know if the letters will be sent out on time, if not so I won't be stalking my poor mail man!! LOL!! If anyone knows anything about Gary's letters please post. Thanks!!!

Hello everyone!! I was finally able to get in contact with someone at the Gary campus but what I found out made me very sad and confused !! I was hoping to know hopefully by this thusday or latest the beginning of October if I had made it into the program. But this is not the case the lady I spoke with told me there is no official date the letters will go out she said they are waiting for Ivy Tech's central office to give them the go ahead on how many students they can take and will mail out letters only until then!! My guess is this also would affect other campuses if you all have heard anything else please post!! Thanks

I just wanted to let you all know that I just got my acceptance letter for Bloomington Practical Nursing (LPN) with 206.5. My mom just called me and I had her read it, so I am not totally sure about it all but I think Bton people can expect to start getting letters today!

Got a letter from Bloomington today. Did not get in ASN or LPN. My score was 194. Now waiting on letters from Muncie and Indy.

I got into Bloomington LPN so far. I have a 203 for this campus. I have a 206 for the Indy campus. I applied at the Bloomington, Greencastle, Terre Haute and Indy Campuses for RN and LPN ( LPN in Greencastle only). I received the letter today. More to follow!! Here we go!!

CONGRATS YOU TWO!!!! Well, at least one campus is getting the letters out. The rest of us will be waiting nervously for the next few weeks!! Hopefully all the other campuses send the letters out on time!

@erimoj01: I just think Gary is lazy because Valpo has already told people that their letters would be going out on time, which means they know their clinical space. It seems like Gary is always a few weeks behind Valpo.

So stay positive and it will come!!! I'm waiting to here for Gary and Valpo as well:rolleyes:

Thanks for all the congrats! I really hope there is enough room for all of us. I saw some tears today at the Bloomington campus and I feel bad that everyone can't get in. Stick to your dreams long enough and they'll become a reality!:hug:
