This is the "Not In" thread, or for anyone that's planning on applying for Spring Semester by the Sept 1st deadline.

We need love too! :loveya:

My Boring Stats:

A's in prereq's except ANP 2...taking that class now.

Horribly embarrassing TEAS at 76, still have two more tries. (Which is why I'm taking math and phys sci this summer. lol)

Hope to get into the Bloomington or Terre Haute programs. (Yay! Greene county gets region pts at both. lol)

Currently frazzling myself out with 5 online classes

It's nice to meet you....whoever you are....

Still no schedule for me either! :( I'm bummed that the Community North spots are full b/c the location is so much more convenient for me. They have gotten a lot of the scheduling done, though, so hopefully the rest of us will know within a couple of days! Here's hoping!

I went to the nursing office today to pick up the form to take for my drug test, which I think I'll go get in the morning. Then it's off to my old high school to see if they have my immunization records---Ah, memories!

Hmmm Annie, I just dropped off my confirmation for the drug screen form today too. I tried to drop it off last Thurs., but the office was locked/closed even though it was in the middle of the afternoon. I wonder if they schedule people as they turn in that confirmation? Anyone here who has been scheduled already, when did you turn in your confirmation and get the form for the drug screen? (which, I was glad I printed off the confirmation because that is what they wanted, not the email you receive after registering and paying. . . at the orientation they said to bring in your email.)

Oh and the Comm. spots are not all full I don't think.

Oh you're right, the Comm spots are full already. We will probably get either Hancock or Riverview. You'll get Hancock I bet. (annie)

Specializes in Neurology.

The drug screens are walk in, you just need to pick up the form in the nursing office and then take it to the lab during their specified hours.

Nursing office is closed at 3:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

All this talk about scheduling is making me excited! Our orientation is next Tuesday, and they do the registration at that time. You find out what your schedule is that day. I'm ready to get things going....is anyone else like this too, and am I just crazy?

Only one clinical instructor goes to Community North for med-surg, so there are ten lucky students who live on the North side. And that is in the first semester. Community North is used also for OB and sometimes Peds. In regards to scheduling, what is listed in Campus Connect may change. Nothing is set in stone and sites don't get confirmed until closer to the start of the semester.

Kim, I stopped by the office both before and after my class last Thurs. (around 11:45 and again at about 2:00) and it was all closed up. They must have been at a meeting or something.

Just checked and I'm still waiting. . . there are 46 or so more spots to be scheduled. I'll probably be last LOL. Whatever, there are pros and cons for me for each schedule block so I guess whatever one I get, I'll be okay with. I'm just dying to know which it is!!

How funny, I just checked as well. I wonder how they decide how to move forward.

Still nothing for me either!! I'm losing my marbles over here! I will probably be near the last in line too. Oh well, it looks like they've progressed pretty quickly, so hopefully they'll have everyone done by the end of the week.

I got my vaccine records from my high school, but it looks like I might be missing some vaccines, unless they're on some other record at a doc's office or something....hmmm. I guess I just need to take this crazy form to my family doctor and see if she can make sense of it. Surely they can look at these things and determine what I still need and just give me whatever vaccines I'm lacking that are required on those nursing school forms, right? I don't have that packet of forms with me, so I don't remember exactly what vaccines are required. Guess I'm going to have some sore arms by the end of the week!

2bsy - All this talk about scheduling has me super excited about our orientation, too! So, you're not alone on that point! I've been impatiently waiting for January to hurry up and get here since I submitted my application in August. LOL

I've been looking at Campus Connect A LOT! They have the class days and times posted. I REALLY want the afternoon schedule block. *crosses fingers* I don't want to have to fight my daughter to get her up and out of bed in the morning, EVERY morning so I can make it to school on time. I have a hard enough time getting her up at 7:30!

Six more days til orientation.............

I got the B1H for everything but NRSG100 which is the B2H section. Finally I have a schedule!
