My Boring Stats:

A's in prereq's except ANP 2...taking that class now.

Horribly embarrassing TEAS at 76, still have two more tries. (Which is why I'm taking math and phys sci this summer. lol)

Hope to get into the Bloomington or Terre Haute programs. (Yay! Greene county gets region pts at both. lol)

Currently frazzling myself out with 5 online classes :bugeyes:

Oh and Carlos, LOL well it started to freak me out a bit until I realized how you knew--and I had seen you pass me on the highway and I remembered your car (not knowing it was you driving it) because it had squealed so loudly in the parking lot LOL. No offense to your 190k mile car or however much you said it has ;)

I would guess that either LPN students would get moved up or alternates will get moved in. She sure didnt call them twice to make sure though did she. If you didnt answer you were gone!

Carlos, were you sitting in the very back on the right next to two broken chairs?? I thought I heard you say that your name was Carlos when you turned in your check b/c I was standing behind you. If that was you, I was sitting right behind you....Didn't want to say, "Hey are you the guy from Allnurses.com" and have someone look at me like I had a third eye! I know that all 120 of those people are DEFINITELY not on this forum! haha!

If those CPR dates fill-up quickly and anyone is looking for an alternative, my neighbor is an EMT for the Fishers Fire Department and he is certified with AHA to do CPR with AED. We live in McCordsville and can either do it at his house or at the fire station at 116th and Brooks School. I think we're going to shoot for the first week in December sometime, but he would be open to just about any day and time. If anyone's interested, let me know and I'll give you his info.

That was me. I about died when that one guy sat in that chair and the back almost fell off. They need to fix that. You should have said "hey", I did to csab and freaked her out! Well I guess I said more than hey, I kind of said hey do you drive this kind of car and post on such and such site.... You should have seen the look of who is this freak on her face.

Geez Carlos did I look that freaked out? I really didn't feel that freaked out, honest! Just a tad. . . until you started explaining how you knew the car LOL, then I realized how it all 'fit together.' (after all, I know what kind of car you drive now too!) Besides that was my husband's car not mine LOL. I was more confused because you asked if I drove a Honda crossover or something, and first of all I had to think back and remember that I wasn't driving my van that day, and then I had to remember what kind of car my husband's car is!

I will probably go buy my stethoscope in person somewhere. I want a really comfy one. Cheap ones really hurt my ears. So I'm willing to spend a bit more money on a comfy good one but I have to try them out in person I think.

The white tops are ugly. Carlos, the guys' version is even uglier. . . sorry for you. The guys' version zips up the front and looks like a dentist or pharmacist from 1962 or something.

Carlos, your post was hilarious--that guy totally did almost bite it! They didn't even have a "Warning" sign on it or anything! At least now I know that was you and I can say hello the next time we meet!

Csab, if the first week of December works for you, let me know which day and time and I'll set it up with Chad (my neighbor) to do it at the firestation. If anyone else is interested in setting something up with Chad on your own, send me a pm. As I mentioned, he is trained with AHA and offers AED with the CPR, so it will be acceptable for school.

Can you link what your uniforms look like? I wonder if it's the same ones that we wear. I'm really not very fond of them, but it's only 2 years :)

Comfy stethoscopes are a plus! I love mine and I can hear really well with it. It's a Littman Classic II S.E. I picked that one since all of the nurses at work said it was a really good one to have. There's been a few girls in my clinical group that hate the cheap ones that they bought and are thinking about buying the same one as me.
