This is the "Not In" thread, or for anyone that's planning on applying for Spring Semester by the Sept 1st deadline.
We need love too! :loveya:
My Boring Stats:
A's in prereq's except ANP 2...taking that class now.
Horribly embarrassing TEAS at 76, still have two more tries. (Which is why I'm taking math and phys sci this summer. lol)
Hope to get into the Bloomington or Terre Haute programs. (Yay! Greene county gets region pts at both. lol)
Currently frazzling myself out with 5 online classes
It's nice to meet you....whoever you are....
Hello! So here I am again. I had issues last semester b/c my Psych was a transfer grade from IUPU and I did not know that I needed my official IUOU transcript. So..I just decided to retake it this summer..and got an A..whooohooo..lol. Anyways, I drove all over Indiana it seemed on Friday. I turned my application in at Madison..of course they are not offering the PN this spring..they said they do not have enough applications. So..I applied to the RN and then to Columbus. I am a Columbus student, BUT I have to say that I am a little tired of dealing with Columbus. I really do not feel like they have their stuff together. Every semester there are some kind of issues on their behalf that cause me to jump through hoops just to get where I need to be. This semester they lost $7000 in grants and I had to call the chancellor to get it corrected. Anyways, good luck everyone and lets get this waiting started.:icon_roll
I hope so Chris.Hi Lennon, thanks for the well wishes
How is it going so far?
It's going pretty well so far. Fast, I think fast is the word I would most describe last week with. Maybe overwhelming too. I'm working really hard on taking it week by week so I don't get too bogged down in worrying, which if you knew me IRL, it's a huge accomplishment! We had our first exam this morning and I got an A! I'm so excited!
If you've not already, I'd highly recommend getting as many co-reqs out of the way as possible. Already in the first week, I've seen a lot of stuff that I learned in Sociology, ANP 201, Microbiology, and the Communications class. Knowing that stuff from prior semesters made the first week a little bit easier I think.
I can't wait until you guys start to get your letters!
Congrats on the A for your first exam Lennon! That is awesome! And I'm very proud of you for being able to take it week by week and not worrying too much! Also, thanks for coming back here to update us that are not in the program yet. It seems that usually once people are in and start the program, they are so busy they don't have time to post here much, so I'm really appreciative that you did it!
