U.S.A. Indiana

Published

This is the "Not In" thread, or for anyone that's planning on applying for Spring Semester by the Sept 1st deadline.

We need love too! :loveya:

My Boring Stats:

A's in prereq's except ANP 2...taking that class now.

Horribly embarrassing TEAS at 76, still have two more tries. (Which is why I'm taking math and phys sci this summer. lol)

Hope to get into the Bloomington or Terre Haute programs. (Yay! Greene county gets region pts at both. lol)

Currently frazzling myself out with 5 online classes

It's nice to meet you....whoever you are....

I hope so! BUT..if history repeats itself Columbus will be here around Christmas..sorry a little frustrated sarcasm there :D My poor postman is really going to think I have something for him stalking him twice in one year..lol

All of the mailbox stalking almost made me physically ill every afternoon!

You're welcome csab :) If anyone else has any questions that a second week student like me can answer, I'd be happy to try and help :)

I agree the wait is the worse. Once I knew I didn't make it and knew why it was easier to handle than the waiting. I was such a grouch!

Thank you so much. I know for me, any info on how it's going in the program would be a huge help! I don't know what I am more nervous about, waiting for the letters or the anxiety of what it will actually be like if I get in ... I'm glad to hear you are doing well so far!!

Hello everyone! I am a new memeber. I submitted my application for both programs last week at the Gary Campus. My nerves are 10 right now, knowing that the countdown officially started today at 4pm. I don't know which part is the hardest, taking the TEAS or waiting for this letter to arrive. I'm really nervous because I wonder if what I did was good enough! I am really trying to have a positive outlook and hope for the best. I will you all the best of luck and will be checking in to see how everyone is doing!

Good luck to you as well... I will just be glad when the wait is over! I hope they send out letters early as well. I've never been so excited and nervous all at once :coollook:

How many men have you encountered in your program so far. I am applying to Indy with 210 pts and am anxiously awaiting my letter just to know what I will be doing in the spring.

Hi 2bsy2slp! What scores did you apply with? I also applied to the Gary campus, so hopefully we'll both get in and see each other in class! I was feeling kind of lonely on here since it seems like the majority of the people on the board are in other regions.

I was only going to turn in an application for the RN program, which I did after the July info session. After having it on my mind for the past month, I decided to apply for the LPN program as well. I turned in that application on Monday. So now we wait with crossed fingers......

I am from region 5 (Kokomo, Wabash, Logansport....) and I just have a quick question. I went to an info session yesterday (sept. 1) and the person instructing said there were 225 possible points. I can only find 223 possible. Am I missing 2 pts somewhere?

Hmmm...

120 possible points on pre reqs, 100 possible on TEAS, 3 for your region... yeah I only get 223. The only other thing I think she could have possibly included in there is tie breaker points but I'm not sure how they do those. I know it's based off of who applied first and where you took your pre reqs at. But as far as your basic amount of points, I think you're right with the 223. Hope this helps :)

Good luck guys!! I'll be rootin' for you so you can give me some insight for next year!

I applied to Indy with 210 (not in region) and I was accepted, hopefully you will also! I took a place at Bloomington though since it's much closer :)

In my little group of 20 people (I have all of my classes with them except Pharm due to some schedule weirdness) actually 5 of them are guys! 2 of them are probably in their 20s and the other 3 I think are 40s or 50s. We've got a lot more guys that I would have expected!
