I was just wondering if anyone else on here is going to be entering the nursing program at Ivy Tech's Fort Wayne campus this fall. Would love to get to know a few people before the semester actually starts!

Congratulations on getting into the program! I'm also starting in the fall. SO excited
I can't wait! What section are you in (A-D)? I just wish financial aid would hurry up because I want to get my books so I can start reading. LOL
Oh I know, I have everything but the books... just one more week. I'm in section A, you?
I'm in section B. Which is the smallest section! Well we should be in Fundamentals and Med-Surg lectures together!
Did you get your books yet? I did today and am SO confused!! i got home and went over all the books that the lady gave me. I have books for the whole nursing program... and once I opened the box, I realized that I have duplicates.
I was going to go today, but something told me to wait. Now I'm glad I did! Have you called the bookstore to find out about the duplicates?
Did you also get your ATI books when you went there?

Get use to the book store messing up. Never leave the campus or for that matter the conter without checking the books. The horror stories are not just stories.
I finally went and got my books, and the lady that "helped" me kept telling me I needed the small nursing diagnosis handbook and I told her "no it's in the box". I had already emailed to find out the contents of the box.
She swore up and down, that if it was listed it was needed. So I reluctantly took it to the counter, when I got there, the lady ringing me up told me that book was in the box! So thankfully she was on the ball and I didn't end up with any duplicates.

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you lucky people who was accepted into the fort wayne RN could tell me what your total scores were maybe? I'm applying for Spring RN and am extremely nervous and wanted to get an idea of the cut off? I really would appreciate the feed back, thank you.

From what I have seen the RN scores were 215-202. I don't know what the cut off was for the LPN program. They say that Spring is usually easier to get into than the Fall, but with so many people applying I don't know if that's true anymore.
