Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those of us planning on applying by April 1st....
Has anyone taken the TEAS yet? Where are you with your pre-reqs? What campus are you applying to?
I am planning on taking the TEAS in December, so I have enough time to retake it :) and this is my first semester at Ivy Tech. I'm taking APHY 101, ENGL 111, and PSYC 101 all this semester and I will complete APHY 102 next semester. I am planning on applying to Indy.

I am taking Ivy 101 online this summer...Someone on the Ivy Tech board asked if we really need the book..Does anyone know if the book is really necessary....I can't believe that we have to take this waste of time and money class.
Ugh, there's a woman at school who speaks to us as though we're beneath her. It's not so much her words, its her tone of voice. She sounds as though she's exasperated and speaking to a recalcitrant 2 year old and its rather infuriating. A simple questions leads to what sounds like a sarcastic, "I can't believe you're even asking this" type of reply. At first, I just thought maybe I was nervous and took her words the wrong way, but she speaks like that every time and its not just to me. You would think that Ivy Tech would hire and keep people who are nicer/more helpful to the students since WE are the ones who keep them employed.

Yeah I know what you mean and I'm definitely not in to paying people to be mean to me :-) I'd complain to the person's boss for sure.
I have a Wii Fit - I haven't used it in a while though. It's already packed up for the move. I'm going to set it up as soon as we move in to the new place.
It's already May 27th - I cannot believe you guys haven't gotten your letters yet. I'm glad we got ours early, otherwise I'm sure I would have pulled out all of my hair by now.
Going to re-read the chapter and try to get a handle on this Chemistry stuff tonight...
I'm taking Chem 101 on-campus at Lafayette. And yeah, I just had to pay over $100 for our lab manual... Plus the textbook, which was probably more but I can't remember. Seems like too much money.
I bet a lot of you guys will get your letters tomorrow! Hopefully!
On Wednesday of this week Columbus told me "letters will be mailed out in a week or so" and "they are still working on dates for orientation. I was hoping to just get the orientation date so I could plan my summer vacation! I'm just going to enjoy my 3 day weekend knowing my letter isn't coming today and may not come until the end of next week or beginning of the following.

what is the deal with columbus?? don't they realize that they hold us to a really high standard as far as meeting deadlines yet they aren't following deadlines. most of the other campuses seem to get letters out on time, so why can't they? they need to get on the ball on this because there are a lot of students that need to accept or deny positions at other campuses....i have to reply to lafayette by the 4th. geez!! oh well, i guess we have to play along for now...
