Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those of us planning on applying by April 1st....
Has anyone taken the TEAS yet? Where are you with your pre-reqs? What campus are you applying to?
I am planning on taking the TEAS in December, so I have enough time to retake it :) and this is my first semester at Ivy Tech. I'm taking APHY 101, ENGL 111, and PSYC 101 all this semester and I will complete APHY 102 next semester. I am planning on applying to Indy.
And good luck to all the Spring 2010 applicants! :yeah:Hope everyone gets in!!!
Hey ladies,I have a friend that email Karen Dolk at the Lafayette campus today. She emailed back saying letters would be sent out next week.
Oh my goodness! That's exciting - I'm still really nervous. Lafayette's the only campus I applied to. I wish they'd told your friend what the points were looking like so far.
I think I heard that they would be mailed for Richmond about next Wednesday or shortly after??? So relax til then, there is nothing we can do now except wait. Try to not worry too much and enjoy your time now because once we start, it is going to be way harder than it has been and it is going to take more time than you expect. The end is worth it but it is going to make you crazy for some time!
What I have always heard is those that worry are those that get in, those that don't worry, they don't really want anyway.
Hang in there gang, we are almost there!
Nope my friends initials aren't WW :) You ladies are funny. Was Lafayette accepting RN's and LPN's this time around or only RN's?
They were accepting both and I applied to both. They only accept LPN for the spring semester. On pins and needles here as we wait for those letters to arrive!

I'm sure we can all come up with ideas of fun stuff to do while we wait on letters. I'm planning on taking the kids to the zoo one day this weekend and at least one day next week (thank goodness we have a membership). I will be spending a whole day cleaning my grandmothers house and steam cleaning her carpets. And another day doing the same at my mom's house. I even offered to clean my brother's house for him....can you tell I like to clean when I'm anxious about something?? I also found a 1000 piece puzzle that I might try my hand at. Although, puzzles are usually dangerous for me. Once I get started, I typically don't stop till it is done. Last time my mom started a puzzle, I ended up at her house till 4:30 in the morning finishing it.

I agree that the wait is horrible!! I will be happy if they just come before June. I think I speak for everyone that receiving an acceptance letter would be a great reason to celebrate Memorial Weekend! Good Luck to all!
