Ivy Tech Acceptance Letters - Fall 2007

Published

Let me first say I am so excited! I received my acceptance letter today from Ivy Tech - Lafayette for the Fall 2007 RN Program.

I was wondering if there is anyone else out there that is starting the program in the Fall?

It would be great to get information from other IvyTech Students that are already in the program as to what is expected and what types of items are helpful in having, like PDA, what type of stethoscope, etc.

I would love you hear from you?

Amy :) :welcome:

I wonder if she was from another campus. Others might score them differently. Mine was 212 so I would call or e-mail Angie Koller at Ivy Tech and ask. It's been long enough that I would figure it's lost in the mail. Mine was postmarked 5/30. Let me know!

Adrienne,

that's the problem. I am visiting my family in Ukraine and won't be back until the end of the week. My husband is trying to find something out but they do not want to disclose any info to him. He spoke with Ms. Koller and she told him to have me e-mail her. I did, but have not heard anything back yet. I am SO frustrated! When is your orientation?

Orientation is July 12th so you have plenty of time. Angie is good about e-mailing back. Don't fret too much!

Thanks a lot for your support. I did not think I would stress out so much over this, but I do, especially when there is not much you can do, just e-mail. I can not wait to be back.

I got mine last Friday! :) I'll be attending Ivy Tech - Valpo for the Fall 07 RN program! :)

My parents just bought me a Littmann Classic II SE stethoscope as a gift. I hear they are one of the best.

Best wishes to all!

Congrats to everyone! I just got the call today, I have a spot in the Logansport Ivy Tech LPN to ASN program this fall!!!!! I had been on the alternate list, so I am thrilled. I will be commuting from Indy to Logan, but it's okay I will be ride sharing and I have family in Logan area.

WOO HOOOOOOO!!!!

I think Indy sends out letters regardless of if you got in or not. If you didn't I thought they attached an app for the LPN program.

They do not disclose the minimum scores necessary or even the number of applicants. I had an 89 on my TEAS. Was yours around there?

If you didn't get in and don't want to go the LPN route, Indiana Wesleyan has a new 2 year ASN program that they are looking for applicants for August. It looks like a good program and just a little more expensive than Ivy Tech.

I am so happy for you! I'm working right now towards applying for nex t Fall---what are some of the total composite scores you have hear of? My friend got 3 A's and 1 B on her prerequ, for a total of 110, and an 88 on hter Teas, for a total of 198 and did not get in. scarry!

They told me they do send letters with an application for the LPN program. you might be in a backup pool---meaning the hold the close applications to see if the ones sent the acceptance letters all accept or if some decline, it opens up additional spots. Good luck!

Hello!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I started a yahoogroup for Ivy Tech nursing students/applicants. I think we deserve our own group!

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ivytechnursewannabes/

I think it's okay to post this here, since I have seen yahoogroups listed in other posts.

Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to our new nursing students! Now, does anyone have a TEAS manual to sell, since you won't need it any longer LOL!
