Let me first say I am so excited! I received my acceptance letter today from Ivy Tech - Lafayette for the Fall 2007 RN Program.
I was wondering if there is anyone else out there that is starting the program in the Fall?
It would be great to get information from other IvyTech Students that are already in the program as to what is expected and what types of items are helpful in having, like PDA, what type of stethoscope, etc.
I would love you hear from you?
Amy :) :welcome:
Congrats nursewgtr!:balloons: Its all very exciting isnt it. Now I cant wait till Wednesday to find out about my schedule and other stuff. They are supposed to tell us about physicals, background checks, and CPR certification besides getting fitted for uniforms. Its suppose to be a three hour orientation.
Good Luck to Everyone Else and let me know how its going!!!

Congrats all! Which campuses will you be at? I was just accepted to Indianapolis and don't know if I know a soul for Fall. I'm assuming that none of you are in Indianapolis based on your orientation dates.Adrienne
Adrienne,
I applied for Fall 2007 in Indianapolis and as of June 6th have not heard anything. I have a feeling I did not get in:(
Could you please share what TEAS score you needed to get in?
I think Indy sends out letters regardless of if you got in or not. If you didn't I thought they attached an app for the LPN program.
They do not disclose the minimum scores necessary or even the number of applicants. I had an 89 on my TEAS. Was yours around there?
If you didn't get in and don't want to go the LPN route, Indiana Wesleyan has a new 2 year ASN program that they are looking for applicants for August. It looks like a good program and just a little more expensive than Ivy Tech.
