I'm struggling to get started on studying for my NCLEX PN. It's been 7 years since I finished school. I am unsure what or where to start. I have no motivation because every time I try to study I feel like I'm just going around in circles. I would like some input on what ya'll did to help you get started studying. Thank you

Hi folks. I am 57 and I graduated from high school in 1976 and from nursing school in Aug 2013. I don't remember a time in my life when I didn't want to be a nurse. Unfortunately life got in my way and delayed the process but here I finally am at the verge of being a RN. The only thing between me and RN at the end of my name is this crazy NCLEX. Since 8/2013 I have tried and failed three times. Here is $200 to register for the test and $110 for an ATT letter from the state board of nursing each time I test. My savings are wiped out and my checking account is so low I have to borrow from one Bill to pay another. I didn't have $310 to retest a 4th time until I had a yard sale plus sold some things using ebay. Where there is a will there is a way. I have too much invested to let it slip through my fingers. I am a nurse, I will pass that darn test and be a RN. So what if it takes me longer than most. I have waited 30 decades to get to this point....I think I can finish this story with a Happy ending and so can the rest of you. Never give up, God is guiding you through. If anyone wants to just chat or do a phone study let me know. My computer is older so I can't do Skype. Good luck

Im actually just studying I boight this book by McGraw Hill its called demystified. I love it. It breaks it down so good. Im just going to study. If I dont pass take the review. Im praying that I pass it. I sometimes find myself not having any motivation to study. Wish yall the best

I graduated nursing school/high school May 2013. I just got my ATT THIS MORNING! My high school prolonged sending in my application for so long and they finally sent it in two days ago. I work Mon-Fri at my state college and i am currently enrolled in 4 classes. Sometimes i feel as if i want to quit and give up but i remember why i am doing this. Think, why are you doing this? Practice makes permanent! Good luck and i wish you all the best!
