i'll keep you posted on what's coming in today: i'm in triage.

why in the world do these ppl wait until a holiday...would much rather be at home eating myslef to death :p so much for my diet today. is it a full moon? lol happy thanksgiving gotta love spending the holidays with your friends...at work!!!

LOL Carotid..a day in the life of a holiday in the ER. Too funny. My turn is coming at 23:00. Hope all the cardiac people ate lightly!Course the serotonin levels just might make them sleepppp hopefully. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Carotid, I swear you must work in my ER. People are the same no matter what part of the country you are in. We are breeding a society of whiners, who rush to the hospital with every ache and pain. :uhoh3: go figure... I guess its job security for us...

You can get those at 7-11 there called a slurppee. :chuckle Anyway sounds alot like most ER's iv'e worked in.

My favorite- "Grandma isnt normal- shes acting/seems different than when we last saw her." (EMS has brought her from the LTC)

-when was that

"Last Christmas"

-well you know she has a history of progressive dementia, ect, ect

Of course after we assess her we find nothing new wrong and have to admit her till the following Monday as the LTC doesnt admit patients on a holiday.

Regarding Slurpee vs. frozen Coke/Pepsi/Mountain Dew ... . Yep, Slurpees from 7-11 are ok but frozen soda pop has an extra zing.
