Its official--I have deleted my NCLEX tabs from my computer

Ok I passed my boards on Jan 23rd and just this morning I finally deleted my Saunders/Davis/Mosby and Pharm disk icons from the desk top of my computer.
I have been looking at those icons for 3 years now. Even though I am technically on my own now, done with orienting, I still cant believe at times that me...wife and mom of 4, 30 some years old, am a nurse!!!!!
WOW---please when I make a post that says I am getting an RN license plate, please stop me.
I already have a charm on my necklace that says RN. I wear it everyday.

I passed the boards in June.....still have not deleted my saunders/davis/pharm/kaplan and more yet. maybe I will after your post or I need help:lol2:

Lol- I wiped my entire computer clean after passing NCLEX. Up until then I never cleaned it out- for worry over losing some old homework...paper- etc. BUT- as soon as I passed boards...I restored it to factory standard and reloaded programs I wanted- not needed!

Don't feel bad when I finally get that RN after my name it may be plastered everywhere!!! Its well deserved and hard earned. congrats!

I think that I still have a few icons on my computer...I guess I got used to them being there, like old furniture. I still keep my homework, for some reason...I guess because being on a computer file does not take up the same space as it would have in my room.

It's a wicked cool feeling, isn't it?

I still grin like an idiot to myself whenever I sign "RN" after my name in a chart.
