I ate what turned out to be a fantastic cup of soup the other day (corn and crab chowder, nice and spicy). A few minutes later the guidance counselor walked in and wrinkled up her nose and gagged, saying "it smells so nasty in here! Who puked?"And I just sat there and shrugged.
This.
SHUT THE FREAK UP. Really. You take your lunch. Most of the time I stay in my office and eat at my desk. I'd like to eat my escarole and bean soup without comment.
My district is weird about what they'll let us use so we use some Clorox hydrogen peroxide disinfecting wipes. After working in the hospital and using heavy duty cleaners that were so caustic we had to wear gloves to touch them I wasn't sure the wipes we use were doing anything. I still don't know. I wipe stuff down and cross my fingers.

a nurse's office in here! Of course, it's a nurse's office. I use disinfectants in here. Trust me, you should be happy I do. Besides, what else should it smell like, a bakery?
