I thought I would feel better, but I know I got the last question wrong. I clicked the answer and then next and wanted to go back as soon as I did, but it went to a blue screen.
I wanted to pass on the first try, now I am so messed up... I should have not went into panic mode and scheduled when I did...
I can't believe I did well in school and now it is over because of 75 questions...
I just know I failed. I took my test today and it shut off at 75. I felt like only knew a handful of the answers. I graduated w/ a 3.5 and I feel like an idiot. There were so many medication questions! I didn't know what to do. I hear in OK that you have to wait 91 days to retake! I can't afford that! OU-Tulsa is suppose to have a pass rate of like 99%. I can't believe I'm the ONE.
I personally think that 75 questions is a GOOD thing. Supposedly, you start out with a medium rated difficulty question, and if you get it right go to a harder question, when you get one wrong, it kicks back to a lower level question. You have to pass at least a certain percentage of each level. I never noticed my questions getting any more difficult after the first couple and I took my boards in less than 20 minutes, years ago when they first went to the computer. I left thinking I had to have passed, as I knew the material, or I was LOUSY. Best of luck to all that have recently taken their boards. My niece took hers over the longest period possible with over 200 questions. She did pass, it just took longer. I always figured I would be in the percentage that had to take all questions just for the heck of it, was delighted to only take 75.
I gotta agree with Purple1953. At 75 questions, I felt that I had nailed this thing, and Praise God I did. There were ALOT of questions that I truely had no clue what it was asking, but chose an answer that appeared to me was the worse case scenrio, etc. I had at least 10 med. questions; actually had every type of one category of drug question but knew them all and what i feel was the correct answer, then came the drugs that I believe they invented for the NCLEX, no clue at all in the name. They suk..... To me the randomness of the questions is amazing. I had soooooooooo much of one subject, that me and every guy in nursing school hates, it was unreal. I believe it was my "theme" and I knew the info it was asking about reallly good. My friend that took it today had teaching and meds, go figure. Still only 75 questions that he felt good about. So, who knows exactly how this CAT really works?? I think it is amazing to test our ability to provide safe care with so few questions.

First thing calm down. I just took mine in Oklahoma it is 45 days for a retest. It was on your board app you filled out. Second keep checking the BON website www.ok.gov/nursing go to verification and put in your name. I took mine June 5, at 0800 and my results were posted this morning really early my husband printed them for me at 0400 this morning.
Good luck,
Allison
I truly know how everyone who is waiting on their results feel. I took mine on June 7 and I am still waiting on my results. I am a nervous wreck. I have heard that if you did not get alot of priority questions you were not doing good. That is scary. I know that God is still in control so I will continue to trust in him and he will work it out.
