Is it true on April 2016 NCLEX will change?

Every so often, NCLEX changes. Many of these changes can be found in the NLCEX test plan, including this version effective April 2016. If you aren't aware of the test plan, you should be! It can be a helpful study aid. This is the current test plan valid through March 2016 that you can compare to see changes.

I know they are adding a "Culture" section to the new one.

The NCLEX routinely gets updated every few years. Nursing changes, the NCLEX changes. No biggie.

I believe they added a few sections to the existing categories.

The director for our nursing program said that the test will usually change every 3 years.

My instructor told us the only changes were really that culture/spirituality type section was added. And I believe periop...preop? Something-op was taken out. I think.
