hi, i m currently working in a hospital in the Philippines and looking for a work abroad. i am planning to have an nclex exam but i still dont have a state to go to. and i still dont have an employer or agnecy. is it possible to take an nclex without a chosen state? i am newbie so please help me. thanks.

Yes, if you plan to relocate to the States, you must select one state because the results of your NCLEX exam will need to be processed by a state board of nursing.
I would not select California if I were you due to clinical concurrency issues. The California Board of Nursing has not been granting licensure to graduates of Philippine nursing programs for the past few years.

The easiest and cheapest is the state where you wish to live and work. Anything else is a waste of time and money. If you have no way to be sponsored to the US to work as a nurse what is the point in applying for a US nursing license
