I have 8 pre-requisites. I plan to take 4 in spring 2009 and then take another 4 in summer 2009. I know summer term is a short term. So is it possible for me to take 4 classes ( all is humanity courses, 3 credit/class)during that short time?
Thanks!

I'll answer with another question, would you take 8 classes during the fall or winter term?

It's doable...
if you don't have a job or don't have to work many hours and you are mentally prepared - totally doable. Especially 4 humanities classes... just prepared for a lot of reading and work groups and reports.. lol

I think it depends on how the classes are set up. Four classes in one session seems pretty rough. My school had two seperate summer classes. Taking 1 class in them (while working full-time) was fine, and i probably could have mustered a second. But, I don't think I could have done four. Each of our summer semesters were 7 weeks each (vs 14 normal). If the summers are split, it may not be the biggest challenge to take 2 and 2.

Yeah, it's totally doable. My school does two summer sessions, and I took A&P I and Sociology in the first session and A&P II and Nutrition in the second. It's basically going full time, but instead of a full semester for 4 classes you have a half semester for 2 classes and then another half semester for 2 classes. I always preferred summer classes b/c by the time you're sick of the subject and the teacher, it's over!

You didn't say you wanted to take anatomy and chemistry the first term, and physiology and microbiology the second term, so yes, it is doable.

It's definitely doable. I was in the exact same boat as you. I had to take 3 of my pre-requisites at CCP this past summer while working full-time. I took A & PII in Summer I and Intro to Psych + Nutrition (both online) in Summer II.
Oops- lol! I thought this thread looked familiar!
