Is it possible to fulfill these prereqs entirely online?

Published

I'm jumping in with both feet and want to get the ball rolling.

I'm a 33-year-old SAHM of a three-year-old. I have a Bachelor of Arts (Religious Studies) and Bachelor of Journalism (Magazine Design) degree. I want to start knocking out my prereqs and enter into a BSN accelerated program when my daughter heads off to kindergarten.

Here's my question...can I complete all of these prereqs entirely online (without having to visit a campus for tests)?

I'm open to enrolling in online courses from any good, accredited college/university from across the nation.

I live in rural Missouri and am having a hard time finding exactly what I'm looking for locally.

Prereqs:

Anatomy and Physiology I with lab

Anatomy and Physiology II with lab

Microbiology with lab

Nutrition *

Statistics

General Psychology (Already fulfilled.)

Human Growth and Development (across the lifespan) *

* Most interested in these two right now.

PS - Will I be looked down upon for taking online courses? And, would it be odd for me to take classes at various schools?

Vegstar,

Just a few questions about Iowa Tech CC. Did you take classes there? And if so did u take A&P there how was the lab done?

Does anyone know of an online stats class with no proctored exams? I'm traveling a lot this summer and looking for a course where everything is done online, tests, quizzes, final, etc?

Any suggestions?

thanks :)

UNE now does their "proctoring" through a service that has you set up a webcam in your home as you do your exam on your computer. They have a statistics course. http://www.une.edu/com/online

With EduKan A&P I & II and Micro you do have to take at least one proctored exam, but you can arrange it with most universities or even public libraries (free). If you know where you'll be when, it's still do-able.
