I was looking to apply for some scholarships, but I'm not too sure if it's considered a STEM discipline. My nursing school comes under the college of arts and science and we end up with a Bachelor's of Science on nursing (traditional BSN program).
I've only found opinions on google so far but if anyone knows for sure it would be super helpful. Thank you!

Not according to the current criteria - probably because nursing is an amalgamation of social & 'hard' sciences. We're kind of like the civil engineering of healthcare.
It's really odd, because "life sciences" is a STEM "S" category, & it includes things like epidemiology, neuropsychology, medical science & dietetics -- but does not specify nursing. A deeper dive into the 'medical science' category shows that these jobs require extensive preparation (minimum Masters degree) - so it does not look as though nursing is a good fit.

STEM? Per the definition? No, its not.
There are plenty of nursing scholarships out there.
