Good day to all! I just passed the June 2008 NLE. I badly need the PRC Certificate. Some says that it will be available after 6 to 9 months of registration. I just would like to ask if there is a faster way or an express lane for PRC Certificate of Registration? In what window or specific area in PRC should I go?

there's no express lane for the board certificate only for the board rating. you really have to wait for it. if you don't mind, why do you need it asap?

Sorry, but you are going to have to wait with everyone else. They need their license just as you do.
And there is not one thing that you can do to speed things up. It is also a very well known fact how long that you would have to wait to get your actual license once you tested, this is not anything new that has just started or changed.

Actually, I already have my license. The only thing I need is the PRC Certificate of Registration. Thanks for replying.
I need it for employment. I already passed all the examinations and interviews in a certain hospital. But they need complete requirement before they'll employ me. So I need the PRC Certificate of Registration badly.

i really hate it that opportunities are wasted because of the very loooonnng time prc takes to produce our board certificates. i lost an opportunity to work as an employed staff nurse because i don't have that board certificate. argh...
if they want to reduce the number of unemployed nurses, they better fix their system. i worked my a** off trying to look for a job as an employed nurse and almost got accepted but i didn't because of that board certificate! i already inquired at prc a couple of times (and begged on the process) and still they couldn't speed things up.

afaik, there are only three certificates being given upon request from prc. that is, certificate of board rating, passing and for placers or those who top the board exam.
for those, there is an express. if your willing to fork out php 200. just file the request before 9am and get the certificate after lunch or just ask what time will it be released.
i forgot which window it will be filed but best to ask the information desk inside prc.

during my time I already asked the people of the window releasing the certificates and explained that all the board members must sign in it. so just imagine 40,000+ diplomas to sign..

Are you sure you are holding your PRC license right now? We are of the same batch but I dont think that the license is ready for issuance. Im from Cebu. In my case I need the license to take NCLEX Vermont.
Yeah. I do have my PRC License. I got it on the 2nd week of November. Maybe metro manila passers are the one who get their license first before provincial nurses. Just a theory. You try to contact the PRC branch in your area, maybe it was already released like mine.

Help!! I took the board exam last june 2007 in iloilo city n im applying for work abroad.. I tried to claim my board certificate but they said i had to wait for 6 months and that i could only claim my board certificate in iloilo because thats where i registered for the board exam... Does anybody know if i could get it in manila to speed things up? Im so frustrated that i might loose this oppurtunity of working abroad since this is the only document that i need to pass.. I already took the ielts exam and paid the proccesing fee i'm afraid these would expire if i would wait for that stupid prc in iloilo to release my certificate of registration, which is by the way long overdue since im already an RN 3 years ago!!! Please help!
