I work full time and have 2 younger boys both will be in school. I've taken Chemistry with Lab and Sociology in a semester and got A's in both and I also took Biology with Lab hybrid over the summer and got an A. If I take Intermediate Algebra and Psychology I'm kind of thinking I might be able to handle another class with it. Maybe Human Growth and Dev.? I got an A in Elementary Algebra last year and didn't have to study that much. Any thoughts?

If you have had success with that kind of a load already, why would you not try to go for it again...sounds like you can handle it!

I think it's doable! :-) Double check with your college to make sure you can take Human Growth & Development concurrently with your other Psychology course- for instance, if the Psychology course is 101, some will not allow you to take the upper level Psychology course without completion of Intro.
Regardless, much luck to you!
I would like to be able to take A&P with my math class but I would be gone 4 nights out of the week and I don't want to do that. I can't take Human Growth and Development bc I need Psychology first. I might take a History if I can find one on the same day as my Math class and hopefully right before so I'm not getting home too late. The only thing that concerns me about taking 3 classes is my youngest will be a kindergartner this year so both my boys will be in school and now I have to worry about homework for 2 instead of 1. My SO helps out a ton but I'm starting to feel guilty as a mom like I should be there to help especially his first year of school:( the mommy guilt is the hardest part of all this. Has anyone taken History online? I'm taking Psychology online this semester as well.
I took U.S. History online. It was a lot of reading, and I had a humongous paper to write at the end of the semester on Thomas Jefferson. :-( Sometimes you can get lucky with online classes, but other times you get a professor who assigns numerous assignments and a beast of a paper. I mean, I enjoyed the class (even had an individualized field trip to DC to go to a museum to help write my paper on TJ), but I busted my you-know-what for that A!
Just remember that although it's online, it's still bound to be just as much work (if not more) as if you were taking it in the classroom.

I've noticed a significnatly larger amount of work with online classes this year opposed to other years, for some reason. It could just be the classes. The history class will likely include a lot of paper writing like a previous poster stated. You will likely have a few papers to write in psych as well. For my online psych 101 course, I had 3 major tests and 3 papers, plus discussions every week, and homework/quizes. If you are strong in writing papers and math, I'd say it's totally doable! I know my personal max while working FT is around 2-3 online classes or a hybrid of online and on campus.
I am a single mom with two young ones (4 & almost 3)... so I hear you on the Mommy guilt... but one way to look at it is you are teaching them how valuable school is and ultimately you are doing this to give them a better future with a more stable job, etc.
I also agree its more work than attending class on campus. I had to write 4 papers for my online Sociology class. But when you have a family and work it doesn't leave much time for actual classroom classes:(
