I suppose to start Cochran Nursing program in Sept 07. However I suppose to have medical insurance. I will have none by Registration date. The cheapest I saw online is $264. Do anyone know where I can get cheaper insurance.

The Nurses Services Organization also offers reasonable insurance. Check it out here:

Everyone, Thanks so much. I thought I was going to pay $300 or more month. And I didn't know where I was going to get the money. I feel a whole lot better now.

Yeah, NSO is the way to go. I think I only paid $20 for the year in nursing school.
Hi tabbrown1
i get medical insurance through my job, but you can can call blue cross/ blue sheild and HIP and tell them you are a student. Another alternative is to see if you can get haelth insurance through your school and try and use their student health services on campus as much as possible this will cut down on cost.If you are not working you can apply for medicaid. feel free to pm me. It's sad :lol2:we are such a wealthy nation, this should not be an issue for us
