Is anyone signed up for the Hurst Review?

Hey everyone just wondering what people thought about the Hurst Review. I am currently signed up with Kaplan and maybe thought we could exchange information and that we could both benefit from the two websites. Don't think this is wrong considering we spent over 400 dollars to take it. Get back to me if you want to work something out. Thanks!

I had signed up for the Kaplan review and it was a good review but it did not pass my test with just that. I passed my test with Sanders and Linda A. LaCharity. I also brought the Hurst Reviews for PN with Marlene Hurst, now this book had a lot of good things in it and I like how Marlene Hurst say that the NCLEX lady is wanting you to select the best answer that will make her happen. I don't know that just kinda stuck with me when I took my test and I took my time and selected the best answer to make the NCLEX lady happy and I passed thinkig about Marlene Hurst's quote!! Her book costed $40 dollars and it has a disk with it that has questions on it. Making up flask cards with help to over things you should know and rememberize like Precautions, Drugs, ABG's, Addison's and Cushings disease, prioritize (what patient will you see first). I studied from Feb. 2009 to Dec. 2009 and it is only because I was having a really hard time what the questions was asking and what was the right answer but evidently I got it together because I passed. I took my time answering the questions this time and really dysected the question, I used the process of elimination, this is a biggy because you can narrow down your chooses and be able to select the right answer rather it is an RN Test or LPN Test. Good luck in your studying Hummel09, you will do great. I will be praying for you. You need to pray it does help and to believe in yourself and focus and what you want and that is to get that test passed. Study questions and questions and question. My friend on here Brandi suggested that I go through study mode on the CD doing all the content area and than start taking test (questions, questions). I followed her advise and I passed (she is my angel)

I agree that Hurst Reviews and Kaplan Reviews are the best but they are just so dang expensive!!

I have heard the same thing; my family thought I was being silly when they asked me what iwanted for Christmas and I said "moolah for an NCLEX Review course."

I hope that someone comes through with my Christmas Wish:D

It's so funny I asked my family for the same gift for xmas and my birthday because my birthday is xmas eve, I also asked for alot of prayers that I pass on the 1st try of taking this test!!!! I'm so scared!!

I will pray that you pass your test and become that nurse that you want to be!! It is a scary test but you got to hold it together to pass the test successfully. Take the test anxiety and stress and through out the door before you sit for that test, relax, focus, and take time answering the questions and you should be fine!! Good Luck!!!

I signed up for the Hurst review at my school, but I am going to do ATI NCLEX prep. My school is a stickler for ATI and since it was free I decided to hold off on Hurst. Hopefully I will pass on the first try. If not, I will be knocking on Hurst's door. Good luck to everyone

I am now taking the Hurst Review course and I love it! She explains everything really well and makes it fun. I highly recommand that review course.:yeah:I plan on taking nclex in Feb. Best of luck to you!!
