  1. Hi everyone! I just wanted to tell you that I havent been able to find those notes that I found a couple days ago. I know someone posted a link above. I think thats a nice study guide but its not the one that I saw like the hurst review. Ill keep searching....
  2. I'm not sure what I typed in to get them to pop up. Maybe try typing in my notes for NCLEX or something a long those lines. You will know you found it becuase its just pages of notes. Ill try and let you know if I find it. Good luck!!
  3. The first thing you have GOT to do is calm down and believe in yourself. I took the test yesterday and according to the pearson vue trick I passed. It was my second time taking it and I truley feel like I failed the first time because of anxiety. I couldnt think clearly and I freaked out during the exam. You need to take deep breaths and pray to God for peace and that his precence will be with you one that day. I asked him for angles and a clear sence of mind and peace, and sure enough he answered them!!! Ok on the other hand... you need to hit hard on percautions, those are upper level questions and really easy to get them right beucase it's strickly memorization. I had atleast 10 questions over that topic. Theres a thread that someone posted that has the pneumonics for it and I was able to answer the quesitons with out a doubt becuase of that. So def get your hands on that printout. The next thing you should focus on is Endocrine. Open whatever book you can, and know it forward and backward. Of course lastly, focus on all your lab values. I felt like these three topics and of course meds were 80% of my exam and others seem to be having the same. Look up your common drugs and side effects, primarily Psych and of course beta blockers "olol", Calcium channel blockers "dipine," cholestoral "statin", Proton pump inhibitors which I think was "pril" and you will be golden. Wish you the best of luck. Oh... and according to your scores they are just fine. I averaged around 50 to I think my highest was 60 on those questions from Kaplan. Practice is good but you truely have to know your content. If you feel like you need a couple more days just reschedule for next week. You can do it, if you believe in yourself!!! ( : Good luck!!!
  4. Thanks everyone!!! I can't wait to get the official letter in the mail. I forgot to tell everyone that the first time I took the NCLEX I actually failed in every area (embarrasing but true). Not one of the areas was above passing. I though to myself how in the world am I going to do this? I see a lot of people putting up there scores from Kaplan Q bank and agian I really feel like those scores are only good for your own confidence. I averaged any where from 55-60 and was able to pass still. I know everyone had different learning styles but for those who are terrible test takers you have got to feel 100% secure in the content. Not just in one area but in all. You have to endocrine forward and backward, percautions, and some how master your drugs. I think I had 15 or more drug questions!!! I saw a posting that I read a couple days ago, and Im not sure if she took Hurst Review but she copied and pasted all her notes and they seemed almost comparable to what I studied. Some how hunt those down for sure. If I can find it I will let you all know. I just can't remember what I typed in to get it to pop up.
  5. Hey everyone!!! Just took NCLEX today and according to Pearson Vue I passed!!!!:) I never been so happy in my whole life! Ok so I just want to tell you all that it was my second time around. I failed miserably the first time with only 75 questions and today passed at 75! I have to give all credit to the HURST REVIEW and God. I took Kaplan my first time around and didnt have any luck. The second time around I did nothing but content that was given to me through Hurst. Every question besides the dreaded medication questions I answered today, I felt confident when answering them. I know everyone is different but I feel like that is the only way to pass. You can do thousands and thousands of questions but your chances of getting a question anything like it are slim to none. You have to have your content down, and when I mean down I am serious... it's the only way you can pass this exam. I walked into the test feeling confident and walked out feeling even better (which I hear is unusual). I struggled from the beginning to the end in Nursing school barely passing my classes, so If I can pass this stinking exam so can the rest of you! For all those taking it for the second, third or forth time around, don't give up! You can DEFEAT this darn exam! If you have any questions dont hesistate to message me at Nrsing06 at yahoo. Wish you all the best of luck!!!!
  6. Hey SweetMya. Email me I have some notes that can help you out! I wouldnt of been able to pass with out them.
  7. How long will you have access to the videos online??
  8. Hey everyone just wondering what people thought about the Hurst Review. I am currently signed up with Kaplan and maybe thought we could exchange information and that we could both benefit from the two websites. Don't think this is wrong considering we spent over 400 dollars to take it. Get back to me if you want to work something out. Thanks!
