IRSC Spring 2016 hopefuls!

Published

Hello everyone. I'm currently enrolled in my last set of pre-reqs for the RN program. In my microbiology classs, I noticed there is high anxiety because the applicant pool looks strong this year and 90% of my class are nursing applicants. I would like to start a support group, for passing along information, questions, advice, or just emotional guidance. We can all be nurses. We can all do it. Let's help each other get there! Does anyone have any tips for the NLN exam? Unfortunately, I have class and cannot attend the free review sessions.

If there's alts w/ 150+ i would definitely call asap

Some people got the wrong letter by accident on one of the previous forums. This doesn't seem right

I am going to call then first thing Monday morning. Who in particular should I contact?

Or I am going to go to the office on Monday. I need to figure this out.

Candice sometimes it's a technicality like they did not receive your information session ticket....Fight it

I did get that email that thanked us for attending the information session so I do not think that its . . . .but I am DEFINITELY going to fight it

they normally send email for lpn acceptance. you may find out later since the deadline was sept 10

Thank you, I hope I get in that program at least. I'll be an RN a little later than the rest of you, but I will become one eventually :)

What did you score on your NLN-PN?

Well this was a good night. hope to see you all next month

What did you score on your NLN-PN?

108. Eh. I know.

108. Eh. I know.

That should be fine. From what I hear the lpn pool is much smaller than the rn pool. I'm waiting for the lpn letter to be sent out as well because I applied for both. I honestly don't mind becoming an lpn first either. That way I can start working while I'm in rn school, plus experience and it's not a huge pay difference.

Did you got email or mail?

I did applied for Lpn....haven't received anything yet :(
